A different wig, subtle makeup or a new eye colour can transform the same model. Work slowly and use products that can be removed without aggressive cleaners.
Fitting the wig
Comb the wig on a stand first, working from the ends towards the crown. Adjust the inner strap and consider a light, colourfast wig cap between the hair and head. Pull the wig from front to back without catching eyelashes or ears. Store it on a stand away from heat and direct sunlight.
Suitable makeup
Powder makeup is the safest choice for TPE: blush, eyeshadow and eyebrow powder add little oil or solvent when applied with a soft brush. Always test behind an ear or beneath the hairline. Avoid permanent lipstick, waterproof makeup, nail polish, alcohol, acetone and oily remover. Silicone tolerates more, but a small test remains sensible.
Remove loose powder with a clean dry brush. If more cleaning is required, use a barely damp microfibre cloth and mild soap. Do not scrub because pigment can be pushed deeper into porous TPE.
Changing the eyes
Wash and dry your hands. If possible, remove the head and place it on a soft towel. Gently lift the upper eyelid and roll the eye out with a fingertip; never use sharp tools. Place the new eye with the pupil facing the intended direction and gently settle the lids around it. Both pupils should sit at the same height and focus on the same point.
Eyelashes and nails
Loose eyelashes and nails require adhesive specifically suitable for TPE or silicone. Ordinary superglue hardens and can tear the material. Use very little and allow it to cure fully before touching the area.
